NAVIL is started by Late Shri. Kantilal G. Shah and his son Dr. Ajit Shah, a great visionary and entrepreneur as a micro organization incorporated in the year 1970 which has grown into one of the leading pharmaceutical products manufacturer in India. Initially, we were manufacturing goods on loan-licenced basis till we acquired the sick manufacturing unit in the year 1992 to venture into own manufacturing of pharma formulations. We started our ethical marketing in the year 1984 with the aim to establish trusted name among the medical fraternity. Their business intelligence, experience and vision has allowed Navil to grow and look at the market with one objective “MANUFACTURING OF QUALITY PRODUCTS”. At present, the Navil Group has Navil Laboratories Pvt Ltd (NLPL) as its flagship company and Chinubhai Pharma Pvt Ltd (CPPL) is its associate entity.

Navil Laboratories Pvt Ltd is one of the reputed, professionally managed and ranking amongst top 225 Indian Pharma companies. Navil hold the ALL INDIA RANK at 206^th positions (12months) and 194^th RANK for the month of May’20 (Sources: IMS Data May’20) growing with ~15% CAGR in last 3 years amongst 9570 Indian pharma companies. We are one of the fast growing pharmaceutical companies having strong footprints in domestic market with vide range of quality products.

We also own GMP complied manufacturing plan at Ahmedabad adhering with GMP norms in manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Formulation, Ayurvedic Formulation and Nutraceutical Health Supplement. Besides, NLPL is ISO 9001:2015 and HALAL Certification compliant company. NLPL also own Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compiled scientific laboratory for in-house testing.

Founder

Late Dr. Ajit K. Shah was the co-founder of Navil and MBBS doctor by profession. He developed the pharmaceutical business of Navil alongwith his practice. His rich experience of about 30 years in medical field provided benefit to the company in its growing stage to a great extent.

Mr. Ashish Ajit Shah

Production and Quality Assurance

Mr. Ashish Ajit Shah has done his master’s in Pharmacy in the year 1995 and also completed Management of Business Administration (MBA) in the year 2000 alongwith running the family business. Mr. Ashish Shah many achievement to his credit like obtaining expansion & renovation of old plant adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice, setting up of an Ayurvedic plant and contract manufacturing of various pharmaceutical companies. He also established a system of documentation in company’s ERP system resulting to efficient working and higher qualitative production output. His 25 years of experience in production has made the NAVIL renowned in the pharmaceutical industry for its Quality.

Mr. Maulik Ajit Shah

Director – Marketing and Distribution

Mr. Maulik Ajit Shah has done his master’s in Bsc in the year 1998 and done his post-graduation from UDCT, Mumbai in Oil, waxes and surfactant in the year 2001. Mr. Maulik Shah took the responsibility of Domestic Marketing since the year 2002. During his tenure of 18 years, he established various brands of Navil and made the paediatric segment of the company strong through his creative campaign of marketing. His team building virtues has played major role in growth of business and overall improvement in sales productivity resulting to bring Navil among top 225 companies in India.

Mr. Chinmay Ajit Shah, Director

Director – Finance and Regulatory

Mr. Chinmay Ajit Shah is Bachelor of Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and also became Chartered Accountant in the year 2005. Mr. Chinmay Shah joined the family business in the year 2009 with overall experience in the field of taxation, finance, regulatory and private equity placement. He focused on establishment of various MIS system in the Company for efficient and cost saving operation. He is also responsible for computerisation of data to get real time statistics at every level. His overall experience of 15 years will further enrich the Company in future expansion.

Late Shri Kantilal G. Shah, the founder of NAVIL, dedicated his life to building a pharmaceutical business group with quality, purity, efficacy & safety. With over 35 years of experience and association with the family business of NAVIL, his virtues of hard work, positive attitude and vision to speculate & plan for a better future; served NAVIL with firm support and brought it to the place where it is standing now.

Now, at present, Co-founder Ajit k. Shah along with Directors of NAVIL, Mr Ashish AJit Shah, Mr Maulik Ajit Shah, & Mr Chinmay Ajit Shah; manages & regulates different sections of NAVIL with excellence. Carrying forward the legacy of Late Shri Kantilal G. Shah, Mr Ajit K. Shah leads the organization towards development & success.
